Great experience at Nomad Melbourne. The food was very tasty overall, though the steak was a bit rich for my liking, however to be expected as a Wagyu. Standout dishes were the flatbread and the zucchini flower both excellent. Tuna Escabeche was balanced and delicious. Oysters were also fresh and house made worstershire sauce was a great addition.Service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Would happily return.

This was my last and best meal in Melbourne before I returned home. Every dish was done so well! Would highly recommend everyone that is travelling to come and try this! We had the scallops, pillowy flatbread to go along with the full bodied hummus, the zucchini fritters that packs a punch, the MUST ORDER well seasoned dry aged pork cutlet and not forgetting the MUST ORDER olive oil ice cream too

Absolutely fabulous food and express service as we had to get to a show. The zucchini flowers were the standout and the fish was perfectly cooked but everything was delicious- the dirty Shiraz gin and tonic was very refreshing. We will definitely be back!!

Had the most comforting solo dinner at NOMAD on a relaxing weekday night, hosted by the lovely Jem who was so knowledgeable and sweet! Flatbread, fava bean hummus, and cuttlefish were all well balanced. Wood roasted chicken and potatoes were flawless and so, so flavourful! The roasted banana homemade “magnum” was delightful. Jem paired the Sabi Wabi Sémillon and the One Block Pinot Noir for me - so perfect, so satisfying. Would love to recommend NOMAD to anyone looking for an excellent night.

Had dinner here on my birthday! I have been waiting to try this place and was so excited to try! We did one of the set menu. Everything was extremely tasty! Especially the entree - Burrata , bean hummus and bread. Unfortunately the fish was undercooked, the staff apologised straightaway and the kitchen made me a fresh one and took the drinks off the menu. Still food was so so delicious! I do understand these things can happen and staff handled it really well. The restaurant was extremely busy and loved the open kitchen. Will definately be back!

A sensational place to eat at for food,service and atmosphere. All the servers were super kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the food, although a busy busy night various servers came to help however would’ve liked to see more staff able to tend to such a busy night. At times had to flag them down or long waits in between courses but they were always busy attending to someone else. Great communication and team working together as we were wished a happy anniversary on various occasions. The food was delicious, some of the best quality foods locally sourced with great portions, amazing attention to detail and a decent price for such an establishment. Highly recommend the tomatoes, house charcuterie, pork(best crackle I’ve ever had) and the fish. Would’ve liked to seen a sharper knife or the meats cut a bit thinner as they were a bit hard to cut for its generous size. Highly recommend and would come back to Melbourne just for this place!

Exceptional lunch at Nomad Every dish was beautifully balanced and full of flavour, with the zucchini flowers being a standout. The wood-grilled cuttlefish with creamed corn and charcuterie XO was excellent, as was the market fish with heirloom zucchini ezme and smoked yoghurt. Service was warm and professional, and the atmosphere relaxed yet refined. Consistently impressive food — well worth a visit.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding — refined, balanced, and confidently executed. The menu is thoughtfully structured around Middle Eastern–inspired flavours, with a strong emphasis on share-style plates that allow you to experience a broad cross-section of the kitchen’s capability. Every dish felt intentional, layered, and technically sound. Service matched the quality of the food. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely engaged. They were comfortable conversing while maintaining a high level of professionalism and pace — a balance that is often difficult to achieve. The atmosphere complements the offering: polished but relaxed, with a sense of energy that enhances rather than overwhelms the dining experience. In short, NOMAD delivers on flavour, execution, and hospitality. A venue that understands its identity and performs accordingly.

We visited Nomad to celebrate our 2nd anniversary, and we can happily say that we were extremely satisfied with our experience. For starters, we ordered the Wood Fired Zaatar Bread and the Zucchini Flowers. Both dishes were excellent and full of flavor. As a side, we had the Fried Maris Potatoes, which were perfectly crispy - honestly one of the best versions of fried potatoes we’ve ever had! For our main courses, we chose the Market Fish and the Charcoal Roast Chicken. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. For dessert, we decided to share the Apricot Granita, and we were very pleased with that as well - it was the perfect refreshing finish to our meal. We would also like to highlight how much the Nomad team cares about allergies and dietary requirements. It was very clear that they paid close attention to the allergy note we included in our reservation, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and couldn’t be happier with our experience.
